The upcoming Trump-Putin summit in Alaska on August 15th bears the potential of becoming a peace summit if the two sides decide, as Helga Zepp-LaRouche has emphatically urged, “… there is something even more elevated you can do, not only by fighting off the threats facing mankind, but by giving the whole world a beautiful vision for the future,” and start construction of the Bering Strait Tunnel project, a project long favored by the LaRouche Movement in the realm of “Development is the New Name for Peace.”

Larry C. Johnson is a former CIA officer and intelligence analyst, and former planner and advisor at the US State Department’s Office of Counter Terrorism. As an independent contractor, he has provided training for the US Military’s Special Operations community for 24 years.
