Helga Zepp-LaRouche published an article in German for the big peace rally that will take place on German Reunification Day, October 3rd in Berlin.
The article is entitled: “On the Brink of Nuclear Apocalypse: Germany Needs a New Security Architecture!” and she writes:
“Two regional wars – the situation in Southwest Asia and the war over Ukraine – are spiraling out of control and both could lead to a global nuclear war!
After the assassination of the head of Hezbollah, who has enjoyed the highest esteem throughout the Islamic world, and Israel’s invasion of Lebanon, which has already killed over a thousand people and displaced over a million, the situation is now escalating into a conflagration that could lead to a world war.
Ever more powerful and far-reaching weapons are being supplied for the war of Ukraine against Russia, as if there were no red lines in the fight against the nuclear power Russia.
In response, Putin has now changed Russia’s nuclear doctrine to the effect that it will not only use nuclear weapons if Russia’s territorial existence is in danger [from another nuclear power], but also if a non-nuclear state supported by a nuclear power launches a massive air attack. Nevertheless, certain politicians and the media still talk about Putin only “bluffing”. Vladimir Putin’s patience is interpreted as weakness, which is a potentially fatal misjudgment!
It seems that the memory of the destruction and suffering of two world wars has been erased. ..”
Zepp-LaRouche ends her article with the following demands:
No to American medium-range missiles in 2026!
No more unilateral sanctions!
Cooperate with the BRICS nations!
