On July 18, 2026, the Schiller Institute hosted a landmark international youth conference: “Grow the International Youth Movement for Peace through Development.”

Passionate young scientists, activists, and students from across five continents joined the Schiller Institute and keynote speakers Helga Zepp-LaRouche and Dr. Naledi Pandor to discuss the urgent steps required from the world’s youth to prevent nuclear WW3 and global economic catastrophe.

Keynote Speakers & Highlights

• Helga Zepp-LaRouche, Founder of the Schiller Institute, delivered a powerful address warning of the current dangers of global conflict, while proposing a philosophical and practical shift based on Nicholas of Cusa and Friedrich Schiller. She introduces critical global infrastructure initiatives, including the Oasis Plan and the need to create one billion new productive jobs in the next twenty years, just to fulfill the requirements of Africa’s youth.
• Dr. Naledi Pandor, Former Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa & Chancellor of Nelson Mandela University, commemorated International Nelson Mandela Day with an urgent call to action for youth to combat poverty and implement a comprehensive agenda for Africa’s industrialization, food security, and educational transformation.
