Ramsey Clark.
Richard Black.

Ramsey Clark, former Attorney General of the United States

State Senator Richard Black, (R-VA)

Ramsey Clark, former Attorney General of the United States, and international defense attorney for many others will join State Senator Richard Black of Virginia and representatives of the international diplomatic community at a symposium sponsored by the Schiller on September 10.

Press representatives and others please take note. The symposium will run about four hours, including questions and answers. We will place the speakers in the first two hours, with some intermittent Q and A, and a few statements. We will then open the floor for questions. For those with time constraints, we emphasize that the longer time period is provided primarily for questions. The speakers will make themselves available as opportunity permits for interviews or small-group interchanges approximately two hours after the commencement of the program.

This panel has the objective of challenging the generally accepted narrative of Anglo-American foreign policy, especially with respect to Southwest Asia. In particular, the possibility for using economic development as proposed by the collaboration of Russia and China in the construction of the "New Silk Road" to resolve military and potential military confrontation will be discussed.  Other areas such as the need for international Glass-Steagall arrangements in order to redirect the flow of credit into real physical improvements in the world's economies, will be explored as time allows.
